An incredible evening of exquisite food and wine in collaboration with Berkmann Wines

We are delighted to unveil the latest date in our series of prestigious Wine Events for 2024.

This Summer we are delighted to host an incredible evening of exquisite food and wine, in collaboration with Berkmann Wines, presenting the illustrious Marchesi Antinori on Wednesday 17th July 2024.

Chefs Laurie and Chris with the team have crafted a fantastic, bespoke Five Course Tasting Menu showcasing the very best of ingredients in season whilst our talented Restaurant Manager and Sommelier Valentin will pair each course in harmony with a selection of the extraordinary wines from this world-renowned cellar.

The event will commence with a Tenuta Montenisa Cuvee Royale Franciacorta NV reception accompanied by a collection of snacks upon arrival – this delightful sparkling wine, crafted from a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Blanc grapes grown at the Tenuta Montenisa estate, one of the many possessions of the Antinori family. The highlight of the night will be an exclusive tasting of Tignanello 2019 elegantly served with the main course.

There will also be an opportunity to purchase the wines at a special rate, to savour over the coming months.

Please note, a 50% deposit per person is kindly requested to hold all reservations, which will be deducted from your bill. The deposit will be non-refundable with less than 1 week notice, at the discretion of the restaurant.

Marchesi Antinori

Marchesi Antinori is one of the oldest family owned winery in the world. Their innovations played a large part in the “Super-Tuscan” revolution in 1970 and the winery was awarded World’s Best Vineyards in 2022 thanks not only to their operate in wine production, but also to their initiatives in preserving art and terroir that is Tuscany.

Originally from the Florentine countryside, the wine company can trace its history back to 1385 when it was founded. Nowadays, Marchesi Antinori can be found in six regions in Italy – some of their most renown wines are certainly Tignanello and Solaia.
