Set in the beautiful medieval town of Old Amersham, nestled in the Chiltern Hills, Artichoke is just a short distance from the hustle and bustle of the City of London.
Just 35 minutes via Chiltern Railway from Marylebone Station, or approx. 35 - 45 minutes on the Metropolitan Line from Baker Street.

There is limited on street parking in Old Amersham.
Amersham Old Town car park is located off The Broadway, Amersham Old Town, HP7 0HL. A pay and display system is in operation for the 186 spaces and 10 disabled bays, and you can also pay by phone. Charges apply Monday - Saturday 7.30am - 6.00pm. Parking is free on a Sunday and Bank Holiday.

Please, be mindful that Artichoke is located in a Grade 2 Listed Timber Framed Building therefore in places our beams can be low and our floors slightly uneven, plus there are also steps and stairways.
We would advise consideration for footwear for your visit and stiletto heels are not recommended.
booking and cancellation policy
We kindly request credit or debit card details to secure all reservation. However no charge is made to your card at the time of the reservation. A charge will only incur if you fail to turn up or cancel your reservation outside the timescales below:
We will require 48 hours notice for a complete cancellation for parties up to 4 and 1 week notice for parties of 5+.
If there are any cancellations or amendments outside of these timescales there will be a cancellation fee charged of £50 per person. For a no show there will be a charge of £95 per person in the evening and £65 per person for lunch.
All cancellations need to be confirmed by email, otherwise unfortunately the restaurant will have to charge for no shows.
A separate deposit and cancellation policy applies to our Private Dining Room and will be confirmed at the time of the booking.

We do welcome families and children of all ages at lunchtime however, due to the restricted layout of the restaurant, we kindly request that this is mentioned at the time of booking so that an appropriate table can be allocated.
In the evening, due to the style of service, unfortunately we are unable to accommodate children under 8 years of age.
